The National Association of Nurse Massage Therapists: Guidelines for Newsletter Article Submission

Overview: NANMT seeks articles for its Newsletter, which are oriented to the Nurse Massage Therapist’s integration of the Nursing Process and Touch Therapies into the care of clients and/or patients. In addition, new tools, techniques, useful timely information, challenges seen within the Specialty, challenging clients and how the Nurse Massage Therapist impacted the health of the client and/or patient, formal and informal Research, Ethics or the Business aspects of Practice and inspiration to our fellow colleagues are also accepted for review.

 

Guidelines:
1. All articles should be submitted to NANMT within an e-mail message, to [email protected] with subject "NANMT Newsletter Article Proposal", as a MS Word attachment in Times New Roman, # 12 font, unformatted and single spaced.


Use only one font and font size, no centering, headers, bold or Italics are to be used. Authors submitting proposed articles are to assure that computers have been scanned for viruses and maintain updated virus protection.

 

2. All proposed submitted articles are to be checked for style, punctuation and grammar prior to submission

 

3. It is recommended that each article follow the format listed below:

 

  • Article Title
  • Your name and credentials
  • Text of the article
  • A resource listing for more information – if applicable
  • A reference List – if applicable
  • Biography (3 –4 sentences) including your e-mail if you wish readers to contact you
  • If article is being submitted as a Continuing Education Course, please submit your CV/Resume
  • Your e-mail address and phone number if NANMT has a question
  • Attach a picture of yourself in a TIF or JPG format with at least 300 dpi
